THE RED FORT
The Red Fort or Lal Qila is a historic fort in the Old Delhi neighbourhood of Delhi, India, that historically served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors. Emperor Shah Jahan commissioned construction of the Red Fort on 12ᵗʰ May 1638, when he decided to shift his capital from Agra to Delhi.
THE LOTUS TEMPLE
The Lotus Temple, located in New Delhi, India, is a Baháʼí House of Worship that was dedicated in December 1986. Notable for its lotus-like shape, it has become a prominent attraction in the city. Like all Bahá’í Houses of Worship, the Lotus Temple is open to all, regardless of religion or any other qualification.
THE INDIA GATE
The India Gate is a war memorial located near the Kartavya path on the eastern edge of the "ceremonial axis" of New Delhi, formerly called duty path.
THE RASHTRAPATI BHAVAN
The Rashtrapati Bhavan is the official residence of the President of India at the western end of Rajpath, Raisina Hill, New Delhi, India. It was formerly known as Viceroy's House and constructed during the zenith of British Empire.
THE QUTAB MINAR
The Qutab Minar, also spelled Qutab Minar and Qutab Minar, is a minaret and "victory tower" that forms part of the Qutab complex, which lies at the site of Delhi’s oldest fortified city, Lal Kot, founded by the Tomar Rajputs. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Mehrauli area of South Delhi, India.
Day 1 - Arrive at Delhi
Thank you for the warm welcome! It's a pleasure to be in Delhi.
Upon your arrival at the Delhi Railway Station, our representative will be there to receive you. From there, we will drive to your hotel for check-in.
After refreshing yourself, we will start our local sightseeing tour of Delhi, a city rich in history, culture, and architectural marvels.
Our first stop will be Chattarpur Temple, a magnificent temple complex dedicated to Goddess Durga. The temple's stunning architecture and serene ambiance make it a must-visit destination.
Next, we will visit the iconic Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the tallest minarets in India. Admire the intricate carvings and architectural brilliance of this historical monument.
We will then proceed to the Lotus Temple, also known as the Bahá'í House of Worship, which is famous for its lotus-shaped architecture and tranquil surroundings.
Next, we will visit the Humayun's Tomb, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its splendid Mughal architecture and lush gardens.
Our tour continues to the Parliament House and Rashtrapati Bhavan, where you can witness the grandeur of India's democratic institutions and the majestic presidential residence.
We will conclude our sightseeing tour at India Gate, a war memorial dedicated to the Indian soldiers who lost their lives during World War I. The beautifully lit India Gate makes for a perfect evening sight.
After a day filled with exploring the historical and architectural gems of Delhi, we will return to the hotel for a delicious dinner.
