According to ancient mythology, it is believed that Lord Shiva himself sat upon this submerged Shivling when he received the holy Ganga River in his matted locks.

Kedar Ganga Sangam: Flowing approximately 100 yards from the Ganga Temple, you will come across the river Kedar Ganga. Originating from the Kedar Valley, this sacred river gracefully winds its way until it meets the Bhagirathi River on its left bank.

In the early morning, we will embark on a drive to Guptkashi, a scenic destination known for its spiritual significance. As we journey towards Guptkashi, you'll have the opportunity to witness the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding landscapes.

Sightseeing: - Dhari Devi Temple on the way at Rudrapayag.

In the morning, we will commence our drive to Sonprayag, the starting point for the trek to Kedarnath. Upon reaching Sonprayag, you have the option to embark on the trek to Kedarnath on foot or choose to ride a pony or doli (palanquin) for a more comfortable journey.Remember to carry essentials, stay hydrated, and follow the guidance of your tour guides or local authorities to ensure a safe and fulfilling trekking experience to Kedarnath.

Gaurikund: - Located just 5 kilometers away from Sonprayag, at an altitude of 1982 meters, lies a significant destination known for its hot water pond and ancient Gauri Temple. This place holds immense religious and mythological importance as it is believed to be the spot where Goddess Parvathi, the consort of Lord Shiva, meditated to attain his divine presence.

Kedarnath: - The Kedarnath shrine, one of the revered 12 jyotirlingas (divine manifestations of Lord Shiva), is situated in a picturesque location against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. The name "Kedar" is another epithet for Lord Shiva, representing his role as both the protector and the destroyer.According to ancient legend, after the victorious Kurukshetra war, the Pandavas felt burdened by the guilt of having slain their own kin. Seeking redemption, they embarked on a quest to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva. However, Lord Shiva evaded their pursuit, taking the form of a bull and disappearing into the ground at Kedarnath. His hump remained on the surface, symbolizing his presence.The remaining portions of Lord Shiva appeared at four other places, where they are worshipped as his manifestations. The arms appeared at Tungnath, the face at Rudranath, the belly at Madhmaheshwar, and the locks of hair with the head at Kalpeshwar. Together, Kedarnath and these four shrines form the sacred Panch Kedar pilgrimage circuit.

After participating in the morning aarti (ritual) at the Kedarnath shrine and seeking divine blessings, we will begin our trek back down to Guptkashi. The descent from Kedarnath to Guptkashi offers a chance to reflect on the spiritual journey and appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds the region.

This morning, we will start our day by checking out of the hotel at 08:00 am and embarking on a scenic drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. The journey will take you through marvelous ghat roads, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. Upon arrival in Badrinath, we will check you into a hotel where you can relax and freshen up. Take some time to rest and rejuvenate before proceeding with your evening plans. In the evening, you will have the privilege of visiting the renowned Badrinath Temple for darshan (worship). But before entering the temple, it is customary to visit Tapt Kund, a natural hot spring located nearby. You can take a holy dip in the cleansing waters of Tapt Kund, believed to have purifying and healing properties. Afterward, proceed to the Badrinath Temple, a revered shrine dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple stands at an impressive height of 15 meters and is constructed in the form of a cone, topped with a small cupola adorned with a gilt bull and spire.Offer your prayers, seek blessings, and soak in the divine atmosphere of the temple.
